How is the turmeric clay facial mask made?
The way I make my turmeric clay facial mask is by carefully measuring out my ingredients and placing them into a small ceramic dish. Then I combined them together with a spoon until I get a creamy yellow clay mask that is silky smooth and thick in texture with a warm spicy turmeric scent. However, sometimes depending on the clay I tend to need to adjust the clay powder or aloe juice in the facial mask mixture to help thicken it up or loosen it up a bit, so it is easy to apply to the skin. Once the mask is made it should not be too runny or too thick you cannot apply it to the skin, but just fluffy creamy and slightly thick.
How do I apply the turmeric clay facial mask?
The first thing I do before applying any kind of facial mask to my skin whether it be the turmeric clay mask or any other kind is wash and exfoliate my skin well. This allows the clean skin to absorb the nutrients from the mask better so the skin and face can be rejuvenated properly. Then, I apply the mask using a large clean cosmetic brush until I have a thick nice even layer of the mask on my skin. After, I leave the mask on for about ten to fifteen minutes, or until the mask is dry, tight and cracking. Next, I take a warm wet cloth, wipe the mask off, and rinse my skin down with warm water. Once the mask is off, I wipe my face down with an herbal tea such as green tea to help purify and cleanse away any impurities that may have been left behind, which is usually not likely. The green tea also helps soothes the skin while providing it with antioxidants that help fight signs of aging. After, I take an organic vitamin E cream or aloe cream and massage it into my skin. Once all those steps are completed, my skin is left rejuvenated and youthful with a brightness that looks beautiful.
